FEAR

(1) 2 Tim. 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(a) Fear = to be apprehension of evil; to be afraid; to fear; to be uncertain; to doubt

(b) Fear is a spirit, and is a spirit that is not from God

(2) 2 Tim. 1:6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

(a) Stir up the gift of God

(b) So many people are afraid of getting close to God, because a spirit of fear has lied to them

(c) Every time I get close to God something bad happens to the ones I love, or the things I love,

(d) I am afraid if I stir the gift of God in my life that something bad will happen

(e) So the spirit of fear tells you how to live your life, and not Holy Spirit

(f) The spirit of fear makes you uncertain of God's promises, and to even doubt God's promises

(g) The Spirit of Truth would say something like this, those hard times when you was close to God, did not happen because you was close to Him, they would have happen anyway, and even though the time was hard, it was much easier because you was close to God

(h) Don't you understand that life is going to have hard times in it, but you can go through it with God's help, or without God's help

(i) It is time to stir up the gift of God

(7) Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

(a) Say this over and over, God is for me...God is for me...God is for me...who can stand against me because God is for me
