WITH MEN

Isaiah 1:18

   Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

God said let us reason

God almighty wants to reason with men

The all-powerful God wants to reason with men

Why

John 3:16

   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God want to reason with men because - God so loved the world

[World] Greek: kosmos (GSN-2889), the social system.

God wants to reason with men and women because he loves them

Like any good father or mother tries to reason with their child

God says though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

God says though your sins stain like with dyed, they can be clean again by reasoning with Him

It is God and man working together

John 1:12

   But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

I have heard people say that I have to deal with this or that before I get saved

But if you will reason with God

You will received Jesus

Then Jesus will give you power to become the sons of God

So if you will receive Jesus you will find power to deal with this or that 

Man’s part is to receive Jesus

God’s part is to give you power over those things you had no power over

N.I.V. 1Jn 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 

So in this verse we see Jesus was the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the whole world

But not every-one in the whole is going to receive Jesus’ atoning sacrifice

Only those who reason with God

The sins of the whole world is paid for

But only those who are going to listen and obey the Word of God are going to receive the things God has for them

You see taking time to learn what God has said to us in His word

Is reasoning with God

Romans 6:23

   For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin has a pay - day, that pay day is death

The death here is spiritual death

It means to be eternally separated from God

Those that have not reason with God before they died

will forever live a spiritual death in hell 

For the wages of sin is death;

But in reasoning with God, He has a gift for you

But the gift of God is eternal life

Eternal life is spiritual life a life live with God forever

Now this eternal life is only found in our belief in Jesus Christ

But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 12:1

   Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

As we reason with God – what is the weight or sin that has kept you from listen to God’s reasoning

What has kept you from becoming a Christian
