HE LIVES FOR YOU
(1) Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
(2) Intercession = seeking the presence and hearing of God on behalf of others (a) Tense - Present = ever liveth (b) Voice - Active = make intercession (c) Mood - Ways The Same = His mood is always to save, always to make intercession for us
(3) Liveth = active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God, to be fresh, strong, efficient, powerful
(4) Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
(5) Luke 22:31-32 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
(6) Satan desires to have us = but Jesus has prayed for us, Jesus lives for you
(7) One of the things Jesus prayed for us is found in John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(8) And one of the things the Comforter does is found in Romans 8:26-27 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (9) Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
(10) John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
(11) Because Jesus lives for you, you have life, abundant life
(12) 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
