Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
(2) 2 Tim. 4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

(3) Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
(a) Faith in what God said
(b) God said it; I believe it; that makes it happen
(4) Now we know that the Bible is the Word of God so the Bible, the Word, says what God says
WHAT DOES THE WORD SAY
(1) Romans 4:17-21
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
(a) God speaks to things as if they were there; calleth those things which be not as though they were
(b) Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
[18] Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
(a) Faith will stand when all the facts are against hope
(b) So when facts are against hope, faith stills believes in hope
(c) Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(d) Faith has hope because faith doesn’t deal with facts
(e) Faith deals according to that which was spoken
God has said
God has spoken
[19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
(a) We see here in verse 19, don’t considered the facts
[20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
(a) Don’t stagger at the promise or promises of God
(b) The reason one staggers is because of unbelief
(c) It is so easy for a natural person to stagger at the promises of God because most of them supernatural promises
(d) We will look at some verses here shortly that makes people stagger
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
(a) He was fully persuaded that, what God had promise; God was able to perform
(b) He was fully persuaded that, what God has said; God shall do it
(c) He was fully persuaded that, what God has spoken; God shall make it good
PROMISES PEOPLE STAGGER AT
(1) John 14:12

(2) John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
(3) Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
(4) Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
HOW TO OVERCOME STAGGERING
(1) 2 Cor. 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
(a) Casting – kathaireo, Greek 2507, Strong’s
kathaireo, kath-ahee-reh'-o; from Greek 2596 (kata) and Greek 138 (haireomai) (including its alternate); to lower (or with violence) demolish (literal or figurative) :- cast (pull, put, take)
down, destroy.
(b) Imaginations – logismos, Greek 3053, Strong’s
logismos, log-is-mos'; from Greek 3049 (logizomai); computation, i.e. (figurative) reasoning (conscience, conceit) :- imagination, thought.
(c) Imaginations is the not same as an evil report, because as we have show you and evil report can be facts in the natural
(d) Imagination can take you into areas that are not even fact
(e) What are we to cast down; imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God
(f) Anything that is different than God’s Word is something that has exalted itself against God’s knowledge
(g) So we are to bring every thought to the obedience of Christ
(2) Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
