ASK WHAT YE WILL

(1) John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

(a) Ask what ye will, it shall be done

(b) What a promise, and it came from the lips of Jesus Christ, read John 15:7 again

(c) Do we want this promise to work for us

(d) If so, we must meet the condition and they are = ABIDE IN JESUS AND THE WORDS OF JESUS ABIDE IN US

(e) Now abide means = to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy) :- abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), × thine own.

(f) The very first word in this verse means so much = IF = If we will do our part, The Father, The Son and, The Holy Spirit will do there part

(g) Our part is to remain faithful to Jesus and His Word = ABIDE
Ask What You Will

(1) Psalm 23:1
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

(a) Shall not want = why? The want is taken care of = why? The Lord is my shepherd

(b) Shepherds lead and when that shepherd is the Lord and we remain with his leading there is no want = ABIDE

(2) Psalm 34:9-10
O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
[10] The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

(a) No want to those who fear The Lord = fear means reverent, when we reverent or respect The Lord there is no want; verse 9 fear = ABIDE

(b) Shall not want any good thing, who? Those that seek The Lord; verse 10 seek = means pursuit or inquire or search for The Lord and his plan: seek = ABIDE

(3) Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

(a) No good thing will He withhold, who? From them that walk uprightly

(b) Uprightly = Hebrew 8549, Strong’s
tamiym, taw-meem'; from Hebrew 8552 (tamam); entire (literal, figurative or moral); also (as noun) integrity, truth :- without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole.

(c) Uprightly = ABIDE

(4) Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
[8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
[9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
[10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
[11] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

(a) Ask = receive; seek = find; knock = open
(b) How much more; more than any earthly father could or would do

(c) Ask, seek, knock = ABIDE

(5) Matthew 17:20-21
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. [21] Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

(a) Nothing shall be impossible to you, again from the lips of Jesus
(b) Because of unbelief. Unbelief comes from not abiding in the Word of the Lord

(c) Here we see that faith alone was not enough to get the job done, verse 20 nothing shall be impossible unto you; verse 21 HOWBEIT this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

(d) So we see some kind of answers will take a little more on our part

(e) Prayer and Fasting = ABIDE

(6) Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

(a) Here we see the power to bind or loose

(b) Who is suppose to bind or loose, we are not the Lord, notice ye shall bind, ye shall loose

(c) Again these words belong to Jesus

(d) Those that ABIDE has power to bind and loose

(7) Matthew 18:19
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

(a) See this promise, the power of agreement

(b) If two can agree, it shall be done for them

(c) Satan hates unity he knows how much can be done when the Church agrees with God and each other
(e) I have seen this work with me and another brother, for about three months everything that we pray for God answer, the power of agreement

(f) I think it is more than agreement over one issue, I think what makes this work is that people have no issues with each other, they go after what God wants

(g) How can two people agree, ABIDE in Jesus and, ABIDE IN His Word

(8) Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

(a) If two or three gathered together in Jesus’ name, He comes in their midst,

(b) If we really believed this statement, you couldn’t keep us from getting to the house of the Lord

(9) Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

(a) How many things shall one receive, asking in prayer, believing

(b) I think it said all, ALL DID Jesus really say all of course He did

(c) Believing = ABIDE

(10) Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

(a) If you can believe, how many, how many, how many, how many things

(b) All things are possible
